Dr. Shamim Choudhury is a clinician, educator, and co-founder of The Clinician’s Campus. He graduated from the University of Manchester (MBChB, MSc) and has a strong interest in medical education, innovation, and widening participation. His research has been presented internationally, and he has received consistently positive feedback across multiple NHS clinical rotations.
Shamim has extensive experience supporting learners across the educational pathway, from school students to junior clinicians. He has worked as a tutor, mentor, and Widening Participation Fellow at Manchester Medical School, and has contributed to national initiatives including the Social Mobility Foundation and the National Citizen Service Trust.
At The Clinician’s Campus, Shamim leads on strategy, operations, and programme development, overseeing the design and delivery of structured, CPD-aligned teaching programmes for clinicians. His work focuses on creating practical, evidence-based learning experiences that improve confidence in teaching, mentoring, and supervision, while ensuring accessibility and scalability across healthcare settings.
Dr. Haroon Urrehman is a clinician, educator, and co-founder of The Clinician’s Campus. He graduated from Cardiff University School of Medicine and completed the North Wales Academic Foundation Programme (FY1 & FY2), gaining experience in both clinical practice and medical education.
He has developed and delivered structured teaching programmes for medical students, including a 16-session clinical medicine and surgery course, and contributes to undergraduate teaching at Cardiff Medical School. He also serves as an Honorary Lecturer at Bangor University.
At The Clinician’s Campus, Haroon leads on curriculum design and educational content, developing structured, evidence-based teaching programmes that support clinicians in building confidence in teaching, mentoring, and supervision. His work focuses on creating clear, practical learning experiences that translate directly into clinical practice.
Dr. Ronan Fitzgerald is an incoming Internal Medicine Trainee (IMT1), due to commence training in August. He graduated from Cardiff University and holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education from the University of Warwick.
Ronan is also Co-Founder and Lead Educator of the ISCE101 teaching series, where he has developed and delivered structured teaching programmes for medical students, supporting clinical skills development and preparation for final ISCE examinations.
As a Course Facilitator for Clinicians Who Teach (CWT), he delivers practical, high-yield sessions focused on developing effective teaching skills and strengthening clinicians’ educational portfolios. He has a strong interest in medical education and is committed to helping clinicians build confidence as educators.
In addition to his educational work, he has held leadership and representative roles, including serving as a BMA Local Negotiating Committee (LNC) Representative, advocating for doctors on issues including working conditions, pay, and wellbeing.
